Projects
These are our own products. Each one started with information that was hard to use as it stood, and each has to stay correct long after launch. We offer the same work to organisations.
What public registers hold on a land plot, brought together and explained in seconds.
For people buying land to build on, for owners, and for the professionals who advise them.
The problem today
No single document says what can be done with a plot. The municipal general plan sets what the land may be used for. Other registers record forest, protected territory, heritage, drainage, flood risk and the protection zones of roads, water bodies and power lines. The grid operator's tariffs determine what a connection costs. Each source is kept by the institution responsible for it, for its own purpose, with its own map and its own terms. Reading them together takes time and specialist knowledge, and so does the procedure for changing agricultural land to residential use.
What it does
Enter the plot's cadastral or unique number and Spota returns one report. It shows what the general plan permits and whether the land's designation can be changed, the restrictions that apply, the estimated cost of connecting electricity and gas, and how many plots a larger one could be divided into. Each of its 20+ checks carries its source and date. Where a plan is under revision, the report says so beside the answer. Where a source could not be reached, it states what was left unchecked. Reports can be shared as a link or saved as a PDF, and guides explain the rules in plain language.
Where it stands
A free beta with no registration. More sources and more municipalities will follow. Spota is an independent first check and does not replace a municipal decision or legal advice.
A reference work on all of Vilnius, from whole neighbourhoods down to the single address.
For buyers, renters and property professionals who need to understand an area and a specific address, and to judge whether it suits them.
The problem today
A listing describes the property. What surrounds it is harder to learn. The figures that describe a street or a neighbourhood are published by many institutions, at different levels of detail and in different formats, and a figure on its own says little until it is set against what is normal for the city.
What it does
topvieta draws on more than 30 sources and covers every address in Vilnius, 82,333 of them. What is known is organised at four levels: the address, the street, the neighbourhood and the eldership. Each figure appears beside the usual value for Vilnius, so it is clear at once whether it is high, low or ordinary. Where the data does not reach, topvieta states that plainly. Any two addresses can be set side by side.
Where it stands
Live for the whole city, with a page for each of its 155 neighbourhoods and 21 elderships (seniūnijos). New sources are added as they become available.
Cheaper flights from Lithuania, chosen for the way you travel.
Air fares change daily, and it is hard to tell a good price without knowing what the route usually costs at that time of year. Yip will watch the fares from Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga and send a deal only when the price is well below the usual one. You will choose the kinds of trip that interest you, such as city breaks, beach holidays, winter holidays or family trips, and hear only about those. A holiday calendar will show where public holidays and weekends line up, so a long break takes as few days of leave as possible. Tickets are bought directly from the airline.
Driving theory learned faster and remembered after the exam.
The Road Traffic Rules are a long legal text, amended regularly, and Regitra's theory exam tests whether you can apply them. KetGo will prepare you with adaptive learning algorithms that follow your progress question by question, repeat what you are close to forgetting and spend less time on what you already know. Every question will be tied to the rule it tests and checked against the text in force. It will work on the web and on the phone.
